About Antigo Wheels Unlimited and the GFI Challenge

Antigo Wheels Unlimited is a local ATV Club which hosts The GFI Challenge. The Challenge is a series of ATV races which are held in the fall of the year. The action takes place at the Go-For-It Raceway located just south of Antigo, Wisconsin on the corner of Highway 45 and Nickel Road. Four-wheelers, motorcycles, and go-carts come to the racetrack to battle it out for points, cash and trophies. Bicycles also get in on the action, though they race strictly for fun. Racers of all ages and abilities are welcome. The competition is held on a combination clay oval and TT track. Food and beverages are sold on the grounds.

Race Day Schedule

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with practice at 11:00 a.m. Racing starts at 12:00 p.m. See the Registration Form for race order.

If an event needs to be re-scheduled, the make-up date will be the following Saturday, excluding holiday weekends or previously scheduled race dates. Races will not be re-scheduled a second time. If racers have questions on the day of the race as to whether or not a race will be cancelled, they should call Steve at (715) 623-1133 or check this site.

Admission and Race Fees

• Admission is $7 per person; kids six and under are FREE
• Racers pay an annual sanction fee of $20 per person
• Race entry fees are $25 per class; payback in money classes is 80%

Safety is Our Priority!

We go the extra mile to keep racers safe. There is an ambulance on-site at every GFI race, beginning at the time of practice through the completion of the day's races.
